Scattered files on individual computers are impossible to secure or back up reliably. A NAS gives you a central, permission-controlled repository for company files, archives and backup targets, with snapshot support that protects against accidental deletion and ransomware encryption.
A backup is only useful if a restore works. We design retention according to the 3-2-1 principle — multiple copies, different media, one off-site — and periodically test restores so recovery time and recovery point objectives are proven rather than assumed.
